Turko II
2005 Traditional size Lusitano Stallion sculpted by Ed Bogucki
2016 customization by Kathi Bogucki
10 3/4" Tall 13" Long 4" Wide (measurements include the removable base)
This lovely fellow is Turko II, a Lusitano Stallion. Sculpted by Ed Bogucki in a dynamic pose
depicting the nimble grace this breed is known for. Prized for it's boldness and agility in the
bloodless bullfighting arena, the Lusitano is the horse of choice for the Portuguese Rejoneador.
The breed has also found an increasing place in popularity among modern dressage enthusiasts
as well as in competetive driving competetions.
When the original mold for Turko needed to be remade to finish the edition we decided to have a bit of fun and give him some small updates for the rest of his run. A new mane and repositioned tail, along with slightly repositioned forelegs and head set, give him a more collected demeanor. We also added quite a bit of length to his body, providing extra back length for tack and overall
visual balance. He has his own fresh look while retaining all of the original Turko's dynamic
presence.
